Job description

We are seeking qualified underwater industrial services providers for a critical subsea pipeline inspection and maintenance project located in the Gulf of Mexico, off the Florida coast. The project involves a mid-sized transmission pipeline that forms part of a larger offshore energy infrastructure network, requiring a thorough condition survey and targeted maintenance to ensure operational safety and reliability. The scope of work will begin with a comprehensive visual and video inspection of the pipeline using certified commercial divers and/or ROV systems equipped with HD cameras, sonar, and corrosion assessment tools. Key objectives include detecting marine growth, signs of corrosion, potential coating failures, and any structural irregularities that may compromise long-term service.Following inspection, the service provider will be responsible for performing minor maintenance tasks, which may include external cleaning of marine fouling, light debris removal, and replacement of sacrificial anodes where deterioration is noted. All operations must be conducted in full compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and relevant environmental standards, with strict measures to minimize disturbance to the surrounding marine ecosystem.Deliverables for this project will include:
  • A detailed inspection report documenting findings with annotated visuals and recommendations.
  • HD video and photographic evidence of pre- and post-maintenance conditions.
  • Documentation of all maintenance tasks performed, including materials used (e.g., anodes).
  • Professional recommendations for any further work required to sustain pipeline integrity.
The successful bidder will demonstrate prior experience in subsea pipeline projects, with proven capacity to deliver within tight timelines and to high safety standards. Preference will be given to providers who can mobilize teams quickly and offer both diving and ROV capabilities for flexibility. This project represents a significant opportunity for qualified contractors to showcase expertise in subsea industrial services while supporting vital offshore energy infrastructure in Florida’s Gulf waters. Work is expected to begin within 4 weeks of award, with an estimated duration of 6 weeks for completion.
