We are commissioning a consortium of marine consulting specialists to provide a full environmental and regulatory compliance assessment for the next phase of a major offshore wind farm expansion in the North Sea. This large-scale project requires a team of consultants, environmental scientists, marine engineers, and regulatory advisors to collectively deliver comprehensive services over a 12-month period.The project scope includes:

• Conducting a baseline environmental impact assessment (EIA) to evaluate potential impacts on seabed habitats, marine species, and water quality.
• Reviewing and updating regulatory compliance frameworks to ensure full alignment with UK, EU, and international maritime standards.
• Providing consultation with government agencies and NGOs to ensure stakeholder engagement and adherence to conservation goals.
• Designing and implementing a long-term monitoring plan for post-construction operations, focusing on pollution control, sediment management, and ecosystem resilience.
• Delivering detailed reporting to support permitting applications, investment readiness, and public transparency.

Due to the scale of this project, multiple service providers (up to 10) will be engaged to cover different areas of specialization, including marine biology, hydrography, engineering, legal compliance, and sustainability planning. Providers will be expected to demonstrate prior experience in managing multi-disciplinary, high-value offshore projects with clear deliverables and defined timelines.Deliverables must include:

• A comprehensive EIA report with modeling and predictive analysis.
• Regulatory compliance documentation for submission to authorities.
• HD video, sonar mapping, and GIS-supported habitat mapping.
• A final consolidated advisory document with risk assessments and actionable recommendations for construction and operations.

Providers are expected to collaborate under a coordinated framework, with regular progress reporting and milestone reviews every quarter. Preference will be given to consulting teams that can demonstrate proven partnerships or prior involvement in renewable energy projects of similar scale.This project represents one of the largest ongoing renewable energy investments in the North Sea and offers selected providers the opportunity to contribute to a landmark development in Europe’s transition to clean energy. The budget range reflects the scale and duration of the work, and only providers with documented experience in projects exceeding $1 million in contract value will be considered.
