Every day a vessel spends idle in port translates into substantial costs for shipping operators. One bulk carrier currently docked in Hamburg has reported increasing drag, reduced fuel efficiency, and visible fouling on its hull and propulsion systems. To minimize further delays and restore operational performance, we are seeking a qualified team to deliver a comprehensive underwater maintenance package.The project scope includes:

• Performing hull cleaning to remove marine growth and restore hydrodynamic efficiency.
• Conducting propeller polishing to maximize propulsion performance and fuel economy.
• Inspecting and replacing sacrificial anodes to extend the vessel’s corrosion protection system.
• Carrying out a detailed integrity inspection of the hull plating and propulsion shafting.
• Submitting a full photographic and video report of pre- and post-maintenance conditions.

The selected team must be able to work within Hamburg’s strict environmental regulations, ensuring that all cleaning debris is safely managed and that no pollutants are released into the Elbe River. Divers should hold commercial certifications valid under German and EU safety standards.This project will require a team of up to 5 professionals, including certified commercial divers, inspection specialists, and reporting staff. Coordination with port authorities will be necessary to schedule operations in a way that minimizes interference with regular cargo handling.Deliverables must include:

• A comprehensive service report with condition assessments and recommendations.
• HD video and photographic archives of the work carried out.
• Documentation of anode replacements and inspection findings.

The expected project duration is 4 months, but efficiency will be highly valued.
