Emergency Diving Support for Offshore Wind Farm

Job description

We are looking for experienced commercial diving professionals to support emergency repair operations at an offshore wind farm in the North Sea. A recent inspection has revealed damage to one of the subsea cable intake structures, and urgent intervention is required to prevent further deterioration and potential disruption to power transmission.The scope of work includes:
  • Deployment of certified surface-supplied divers to access and stabilize the damaged intake area.
  • Conducting a thorough inspection to assess the extent of structural compromise.
  • Performing minor welding and repair tasks on exposed metallic components.
  • Installation of temporary protective coverings to prevent additional damage until permanent repairs are scheduled.
  • Submission of a detailed inspection and repair report, supported by HD video and photographic documentation.
Due to the urgent nature of this project, providers must demonstrate the ability to mobilize crews quickly and work under challenging offshore conditions. Compliance with UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE) diving standards is mandatory, along with adherence to all environmental and operational regulations for offshore energy infrastructure.This project requires strong collaboration between diving teams, surface support crews, and on-site engineers to ensure repairs are carried out safely and effectively. Service providers with previous experience in offshore wind farm projects will be prioritized.Deliverables must include:
  • Pre- and post-repair condition reports.
  • Evidence of all stabilization and welding work performed.
  • Recommendations for permanent repair and long-term monitoring.
The expected duration of the project is 4 weeks, with work commencing immediately upon award.
